MANDALAY DIVISION – Local residents said that Pyu Saw Htee members of Lay Ein Tan Village of Myingyan township arrested U Po Htoo killed him and dumped his body on the side of the road.he shopkeeper, U Po Htoo, was killed by Pyu Saw Htee with malice because he complained to the governor about the looting of bottles of alcohol for sale.
At the entrance of Lay Ein Tan Village, Pyu Saw Htiao, a member of the terrorist army, arrested U Po Htoo, a 50-year-old street vendor, on the morning of April 25th, Myingyan township, out of malice and beat him to death in the office of Shwe Nyaung Pin and U Po Htoo died. It is reported that the body of the person who died due to beating and killing was dumped in a ravine on the side of the road in Shwe Kyun Tha village.
“The day before he was arrested, the people at the entrance of the Lay Ein Tan village took 3 bottles of alcohol from the liquor bag he had. That’s what he said to the superintendent appointed by the junta council, Thin Thin Swe. The superintendent shouted those Pyu Saw Htee and the Pyu Saw Htee were angry, and the next day, they caught him and beat him to death. The body was left tied with a rope in the hand and abandoned in the canyon next to the road that leads to Shwe Kyun Tha. The body was found with head injuries and blood “We had to carry the body home at around 2 p.m.,” a resident said.
The dead street vendor was U Po Htoo, from Myingyan township, Lay Ein Tan village group. It is reported that he had lived in the village of Kyin Pin and wandered around the villages in the area to sell and honestly find a livelihood for his family.
