MANDALAY DIVISION-The Myingyan Ranger Group announced that five members of the junta’s group were killed when they attacked a military base in the Nalchar village of Myingyan Township.
At dawn on May 13th, revolutionary forces attacked the junta’s group stationed at the Nalchar village of Myingyan Township. The revolutionary group was almost able to capture the camp but had to retreat due to bad weather. The junta army lost five.
A Myingyan Ranger Team official said that during the battle, they were able to shoot directly at the targets, but because of the heavy rain, the guns became jammed, so they were not able to capture the camp.
In addition to this, the current battle was fought in heavy rain, so it was a difficult battle, and comrades are ill and need medical supplies.
The attack was reported to have been carried out by the Myingyan Ranger Group (Myingyan District Battalion 2, Company 3), Myingyan District Battalion (3), and local allied forces.
Currently, due to storm Mocha, there are floods in the upper parts of Myanmar, and some PDF camps have been damaged. The junta troops are entering and looting villages, so villagers are fleeing in the rain.
