MYANMAR – The terrorist junta army shelling Mumandalay Village in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Division killed one civilian, reported Myinmu Township True News Team.
The junta terrorists stationed at Nyaungpinshay Village in Sagaing Township shelled Mumandalay Village around 11 a.m. on August 21, killing a civilian woman.
The shells fired by the junta forces landed in the north part of the village and hit a 21 year old woman bathing who had both her legs cut off and died.
Similarly in Palaw Township of Tanintharyi Division, local sources said that a 72 year old woman was killed when junta terrorists shelled Lakku Village.
Junta troops fired two heavy artillery shells into Lakku Village on the afternoon of August 19. The shell landed beside the victim’s house and the shrapnel from the explosion killed her.
The reckless shelling and gunfire of the terrorist junta army had killed one civilian and injured three in just three days. Moreover, it is said that a large number of civilians from Kyaungneint, Pawutphyar, Jintgar, Pitat, Nantaung, Myadaung and Tansion Villages in Palaw Township have been injured by shrapnel from the explosions of junta heavy artillery.
The unprovoked shelling by junta terrorists on August 9 had also injured two 15 year old boys from Zayathsate Village.
