MYANMAR: The chairman of Karen National Union (KNU) Padoh Saw Kwe Htoo Win has requested the neighbouring countries and the countries around the world to rightfully support each and every sector of Myanmar in line with the actual situation to solve the crisis and issues related to peace and politics in Myanmar along with the organisations by ethnic people and the civilians.
The chairman of Karen National Union (KNU) Padoh Saw Kwe Htoo Win has delivered the speech at 75th Karen Revolution Day on January 31.
The Chairman of KNU has requested and demanded all the organisations related to Myanmar that the crisis and issues in Myanmar seem to be the problems of the country but they could also be the burdens for the development of the neighbouring countries.
Padoh Saw Kwe Htoo Win said “The only one way for the peace and development of the country and the benefits of the neighbouring countries is to eradicate the dictatorship and to build the democratic federal union which entirely guarantees democracy, freedom, equity and self-determination of the ethnic people and all the civilians.”
The Chairman of KNU urged to eradicate any characteristics of dictatorship and to build the new union paving foundation on federal democracy.
Moreover, the Chairman of KNU advised all the organisations, Karen ethnic groups, other ethnic minorities and all the civilians to be united and to try their best for the ongoing revolutionary movement to achieve the victory to ensure the peace for the next generation and the development of all the sectors and social lives, guaranteeing the stability and genuine benefits of the ethnic people and all the civilians.
All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), Arakan Liberation Party (ALP), Democratic Party for a New Society (DPNS), Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP), National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), Bamar People’s Liberation Army (BPLA), Pa-O National Federal Council (PNFC) and the Committee Representing Pyudaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) are known to have sent formal messages to the celebration of 75th Karen Revolution Day.
Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) has mentioned on the formal message that they have promised to keep trying to achieve the consensus between the revolutionary forces to build the federal democratic union which genuinely guarantee the self-determination of the ethnic groups to make sure no space for any political leakage for the better country and development of the country after the revolution and to eradicate all forms of dictatorships including military dictator, cooperating with KNU and other revolutionary forces.
