MYANMAR – It is reported that Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, the Union Minister of the NUG Government, had a meeting with the US-based Project C.U.R.E. to send medicine and medical supplies to Myanmar.
On June 5th, the National Unity Government Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education Union Minister Prof. Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, who was temporarily in the United States of America, Colorado State, Denver City, discussed with President and CEO Dr. Doug Jackson along with Vice Presidents Kristofer Anderson and Deborah Johns at the international headquarters of Project C.U.R.E.
Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest organization that distributes medicine and medical supplies to patients in areas with limited resources in more than 135 countries.
There was a friendly and open discussion between the Union Minister and Project C.U.R.E. officials about cooperating on the process of sending medicine and medical supplies to Myanmar. After the meeting, the Union Minister toured the workshop building and processes and explained them in detail.
And Project C.U.R.E. President and CEO Dr. Doug Jackson said that “We would like to express our understanding and sympathy for the many ethnic groups in Myanmar who are currently suffering and have promised to help to the utmost.” The Union Minister expressed his special gratitude in return. The Union Minister promised that all plans discussed in the meeting would work out immediately.
