KAREN STATE – All telephone networks have been disconnected in Myawaddy Township, according to military sources and residents.
“The junta council may have severed all mobile phone networks, making Myanmar SIM cards inaccessible, along with internet connections. Currently, we are using SIM cards from Thailand. We have also heard reports of airstrikes and bombings from Thingan Nyi Naung, but details remain unknown,” stated a military source from Myawaddy.
On April 5, revolutionary comrades seized the Thingan Nyi Naung Strategic Camp, leaving only the junta infantry battalion 357 and the police station IB-275 in Myawaddy Town.
