KAREN STATE – On Saturday, September 4, at around 1 p.m., junta jet fighters carried out continuous airstrikes at Lat Khat Hill, which is currently held by Revolutionary Comrades.
“The junta forces have already carried out airstrikes three times. They are seeking revenge for the battalion commander, Vice Lieutenant Colonel, and the leaders of the junta council, police, and the administrative department. Despite the bad weather, they conducted airstrikes and fired heavy artillery shells in the evening. They are doing everything for their shameless acts,” said a resident.
At the end of July, KNLA – PDF alliances seized the Lat Khat Hill camp. Subsequently, the junta council launched an offensive with massive forces, but they were unable to approach the base of the hill and incurred significant casualties.
On Sunday night, September 4, comrades carried out a drone attack on the Township Police Station and the District Administrative Office in Myawaddy, resulting in five casualties, including Lieutenant Colonel Aung Kyaw Min and District Administrative Head Soe Tint.
