SAGAING DIVISION – It is reported that anti-junta strike marches were held this Saturday (July 22) by the revolutionary people in Yinmabin, Letpadaung, and Launglon townships, respectively.
On Saturday morning, in a village at Yinmabin Township, a multi-village strike column chanted slogans such as “overthrow the age of fear” “blood debts could not be resolved with discussions” and “Martyrs never dies” and protested against the junta regime.
This Saturday marks the 852nd day since Yimabin-Salingyi multi-village strike column has been marching and protesting against the military dictator.
Similarly, in the Letpadaung Mountain area of Salingyi Township, the strike forces marched and protested, holding a banner saying, “Marching with the people’s power for the hopes of the Martyrs”.
In addition, the Dawei District Democracy Movement Strike Committee (DDMSC) led a public strike against the junta regime in Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Division. It is reported that protestors held a banner saying “Blood of the Martyrs never dry up” to honor the fallen heroes and condemned the junta’s violent arrests and killings.
The strike column was participated by revolutionary forces, young students, women activists, and locals in Launglon Township.
