NAY PYI TAW – According to the Nay Pyi Taw public staff community, the junta ministries are collecting donations for the families of soldiers killed or MIA in Rakhine State.
It is said that the public staff in Nay Pyi Taw are being asked to donate to the families of junta soldiers who died in Rakhine State in February when their ships were sunk or in battle.
“The departments have to arrange if they will donate individually or together. It is said that each department is required to donate 200,000 kyats, but no one is willing to contribute,” said a public servant in Nay Pyi Taw.
At present, there are 10 dependent elder males, 53 wives of soldiers, 28 adult children, and 21 minor children from the Rakhine-based Military Operations Command 9 at the junta interrogation and accommodation base (Bayintnaung) in Yangon whose sons, husbands, or fathers have been determined to be killed or missing in action.
The terrorist junta council is also said to be asking for donations from army battalions and junta associate business owners for the 112 family members of the dead or missing soldiers.
