BAGO DIVISION – A local military source said that a battle between the terrorist junta council soldiers and the revolutionary forces broke out in the village of Seik Tan Khin near the old Yangon-Mandalay road.
It is reported that on May 8th, the revolutionary forces attacked the terrorist junta council soldiers entering the village of Seik Tan Khin, Phyu township near the old Yangon-Mandalay road with a large amount of force. The battle lasted for more than 4 hours and 16 terrorist soldiers died and many were injured.
It is understood that the revolutionary forces were stationed in the village of Seik Tan Khin for 5 days, and the terrorist army raided the village on May 8th, with more than 200 soldiers, by dividing into 3 columns.
“When we camped in the village, they had not attacked us in beginning. There are some drones dropping bombs. Big weapons are shelling every day. Since from the very first day, heavy weapons were fired at the village. Yesterday morning, a column entered from the side of Nyaung Pintha. A column came in from the side of Tuntharya village, next to Kanyuk Kwin village. Another column entered from the East of the 439th Battalion side of the village of Kwinwine. Kwinwine village and Seik Tan Khin village are about 1 mile apart, so they only go up to the Kwinwine village. They did not come to our side. But as we were cornered, there was only one hole through which we could get out from behind. They are on the side and the front. They moved in with 3 columns and 2 columns advanced because they knew that we were there. As they moved forward, we left a little bit to the back around at 7 a.m. without firing. Then at around 1:00 p.m., the rest of us went back up and approached the area at the edge of their village and fired at them from close range. About 16 military dogs were killed. Many were injured,” said a local military source.
At present, the terrorist army is still in the village of Seik Tan Khin, and the revolutionary forces are also near the village, so the situation is still intense.
