MAGWAY DIVISION – The locals said that the junta army shot IPDs (internally displaced people) camps; two people were killed, and women, including injured women, were arrested by the junta army in Yesagyo Township.
The locals said that the junta army attacked the IDPs camp after torching Chinya village and More Phyu village in Yesagyo Township on May 28 at 6:08 a.m., killing two people fleeing and arresting women, including women who were injured by gunshots, as hostages.
It’s been reported that the army junta was stationed overnight in Htan Taw village, and it opened fire on the camp where around 200 IDPs were fleeing between Kuni village and Yeyar village at 8:53 a.m. today. Two men were shot and killed, and the women who were injured by gunshots and other hostage women were arrested.
The military council column that abducted the people is currently heading towards Yin village, according to the locals.
The army started torching Chinya village at around 6:08 a.m. today (May 28) and torched Moe Phyu village at around 9:00 a.m. today (May 28), according to the locals.
