MAGWAY DIVISION – Local residents reported that terrorist junta soldiers stationing at various government offices fired heavy weapons towards the civilians’ residential wards, resulted killing five civilians.
The heavy weapons bombarded by fascist army at about 8:30 p.m. on March 30, fell in front of a betel nut shop, located between Htintan and Thukhawadi wards, and Ms. Theingi May, a mother of two children was seriously injured and passed away at about 9:30 p.m.
Previously on March 23, the terrorist soldiers’ heavy artillery shrapnels killed Ms. Than Than Nwe (37) and Mr. San Maung (55) from No(8) Thukhawadi Ward, Ms. Yi (54) from No(8) Zayawadi Ward, and Ms. Tin Myint (89) from No (8) Seittathukha Ward was scared and died of cardiac arrest after hearing the sound of large weapons.
“Civilians from No(1) Htintan Ward and No(8) Thukhawadi Ward are fleeing. Five civilians have been killed within a week due to the heavy weapons shelling on purpose,” said a local resident.
