SAGAING DIVISION – Htoo Nakh Zaw (Mother Son), the person in charge of providing support for people fleeing the war in Ye Oo Township, said that more than 3,000 people from 9 villages had to flee because the terrorist army entered the villages in Ye Oo Township.
Starting on the morning of July 18, the joint column of Light Infantry Battalion 702 and the 708 entered the western part of Ye Oo Township, so more than 3,000 people from 9 villages had to flee to safety.
The 9 villages that are fleeing are Ngayote Tu, Pyi Taw, Mot Si, Mu Hsone, Kone Gyi, Kone Tan, Hnaw Kone, Zawa, and Ywa Mithar villages.
It is reported that the terrorist army column fired heavy weapons from the side of Htantaw village to the west side, so the heavy weapon shell fell into Mot Si village and damaged 1 house.
“More than 3,000 people from 9 villages are fleeing due to the attack of military dogs. One public house was destroyed by the military dogs. No one was injured. The military situation has been quiet in Ye Oo District for more than 3 months. They moved towards Shwebo District and Khin Oo District, then moved back to Ye Oo. It can be considered that the war dogs will destroy the Martyr’s Day ceremony tomorrow and come out to harm the people,” said Htoo Nakh Zaw (mother), in charge of providing assistance to people fleeing the war in Ye Oo Township.
