MON STATE- Resistance Forces continued to dominate the No. 8 Union Road section, connecting the southern Ye Township, Mon State, to Thayetchaung Township Tanintharyi Division, according to Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF) and reportedly conducting security checks in the area.
The inspection of the road was carried out by Mon Stqte Revolutionary Force (MSRF), People’s Defense Army (Dawna Column), All Myanmar Student Democratic Front (ABSDF) Battalion – (1), Kanbauk Defense Force (KBDF) Dawna Division (4); Dawei Defense Team (DDT) – Dawna Division (7); Dawna aerial Division (6), Dawei Battalion (1), Ye Falcon Force, Ye Defense Force (YDF); Ye Guerrilla Force (YGF) Dawna Division – (3); Ye Air Force (YAF) and allied joint forces, and reported that the section of the road is under the control of the resistance forces.
No. 8 Union Road section, is being inspected daily by the MSRF and allied joint forces for the safety of public traveling, which has been controlled by the Revolutionary Alliance since March 19.
On March 29, the revolutionary coalition forces attacked the Malwel Taung Gate on the border of Mon State and Tanintharyi Division and dropped 2 bombs with SF-Z aircraft. After that, the enemy military council, using two K-8W Jet Fighters and a helicopter, reportedly dropped about 40 bombs on the villages Kalawthaing, Raphoo, Alal Sakhan, and Kwe Talin at Yephyu Township without encountering combat.
A woman was injured in an air attack by the terrorist army, and since March 31, the Revolutionary Alliance has issued a warning to travelers about a safe period of travel between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
