SAGAING DIVISION – The 24th Battalion of Shwebo District informed that on February 24th, the comrades made a proper cremation to the body of a comrade who died in the battle while serving the revolution in the 24th Battalion of Shwebo District.
It is said that the body of 21-year-old comrade Aung Tayza Tun (b) Sai Kham, who fell in the battle of Sin Aima Pyu Saw Htee Village, Kalaywa Township on February 20, was cremated.
“He was a student who came to the revolution without returning to his hometown while attending school and was shot in the abdomen and fell on the front line. We will also do good deeds for comrade,” according to the press officer of Shwebo District Battalion 24.
Sai Kham, the fallen soldier, is a native of Tarmakan Myo Thit, Kachin State. He is a student at the University of Foreign Language – UFL.
The body was cremated by the district battalion, comrades, local PDF, PDF battalion officials, and family members somewhere in Shwebo Township, and the battalion commander read the decree.
It has been reported that the battalion will support the bereaved families as well as give alms and do good deeds.
