KAREN STATE – The pile of land collapsed on two junta policemen digging a trench in fear of PDF attack at Leiktho Police Station, Thandaunggyi Township, killing one and injuring the other, according to locals.
The terrorist junta council sent out instructions to upgrade and dig trenches in the junta battalions and police stations to withstand drone bombing in mid-November. The policemen had to dig trenches by themselves at Leiktho Police Station, according to the issued instructions on November 23. The soil removals collapsed and two junta policemen were trapped in the trench. One died on the spot and the other was injured.
“The ground removals collapsed while trenching at Leiktho Police Station yesterday afternoon (November 23). Two junta policemen were trapped in the trench. One was killed and one was sent to Taunggu hospital,” said a resident.
The terrorist junta council commanded its battalions to prepare the defenses and to set up 24 hours security nationwide in mid-November.
