MYANMAR – The Arakan Army (AA) announced on November 19 that the incident of 23 cadets, including eight cadets, of the Arakan Army, who were killed 9 years ago by terrorist war council attacked at the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) Headquarters Cadet Training School in Laiza, Kachin State, will never be forgotten.
On November 19th, 2014, the terrorist war council opened fire on the KIA headquarters at the Wai Kyai Bom cadet academy, killing eight cadets from the Arakan Army and 15 cadets from other ethnic groups, a total of 23.
November 19th marks nine years since the event. AA said that those soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country and nation will always be remembered and will never be forgotten.
After the attack, the Arakan Army (AA) and the terrorist army fought in Rakhine State. AA has now become stronger and receives great support from public.
AA is also deeply involved in the revolution that arose as a result of the junta council’s coup.
