KACHIN STATE – The junta council fired heavy artillery shells at the headquarters of the KIA (Kachin Independence Army) in Laiza City at around 10 a.m. on November 4 but their shells reportedly landed and exploded inside China territory.
As a result, one woman was killed, and three others were injured. The details couldn’t be confirmed as the KIO official, Colonel Nawbu, didn’t answer the mobile phone. “The junta council soldiers already fired around 15 shells, and one shell landed inside China. One Chinese woman was killed, and there were also wounded,” said a KIA source.
