MYANMAR – The National Unity Government Ministry of Human Rights sent a message of condolence over the killing of Mr. Than Myint (aka) Sayedul Anwar, the brother of Mr. Aung Kyaw Moe, an advisor to the Ministry of Human Rights.
In the message, the ministry expressed that it is saddened as much as the family for the loss of Mr. Than Myint (aka) Sayedul Anwar, age (45) who had received the command of Allah, killed by an unknown group of people in Yangon on June 7 at around 11:00 p.m.
“May Allah reward the deceased with Magfirat. May he be awarded a high status in Jannah. May the bereaved family also be rewarded with a good reward,” stated the message.
It was reported that the people who killed Mr. Than Myint were supporters of the terrorist army, and that after the killing, they were celebrating their victory by posting on social media.
