SHAN STATE (NORTH) – The Northern Three Brotherhood Alliance issued a statement saying that 126 junta council troops from junta light infantry battalion 129 under the Laukkai Regional Operations Command and 134 family members, a total of 262 junta council personnel, have entered the legal fold under Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), lead by the battalion commander.
It was known that the junta forces from light infantry battalion 129 under the lead of the battalion commander, Major Kyaw Ye Aung contacted and entered the legal fold under the Three Brotherhood Alliance, at around 8:30 p.m. on November 12. Light infantry battalion 129 is a battalion under Laukkai Regional Command Headquarters, based in Yam Kwan Village, Manlaw Village tract, Shi Shan region, Kokang special region 1.
It was known that the junta council troops who entered the legal fold were awarded 10 lakhs each and their family members were awarded 1 lakh each. Those in poor health were also provided free medical treatments. The Three Brotherhood Alliance forces have reportedly already sent those junta forces to their destination safely.
It was also included in the statement that the entire population of Myanmar will always remember and honour the Major Kyaw Ye Aung as a brave hero, who managed to lead and bring a total of 262 junta personnel; 126 junta council troops and 134 family members from light infantry battalion 129 after considering their safety.
