The campaign is intended for Minbu District Battalion 3, Magway Division and Information Officer Ms. Waddy from District Battalion 3 informed that there are difficulties with rations due to the influx of new recruits and trouble providing food and health care to the displaced people.
Although the performance announced in the campaign was planned to be held on May 5, they haven’t sold enough tickets and had to postpone the performance to May 18. Tickets can be purchased at the Facebook page of Myaylatt Daung Toh Pwae Ka Soh: https://www.facebook.com/myaylattdaung2024
Minbu District Battalion 3 was established in July, 2021 by young people from Saythottayar Township together with revolutionary youths from other regions.
The battalion has a strength of over 300 and is active in its home region while also collaborating with allied forces in Chin State and Yaw Region.
The revolutionary force conducted over 35 military operations against the junta council troops in 2023 and eliminated over 40 junta forces while a revolutionary soldier fell in battle and five were injured, stated Ms. Waddy.
On top of the road and transport issues, the region has always had difficulties with farming and rations due to lack of arable land.
The battalion is said to have organised the campaign as they require weapons and ammunition, mines and related accessories in order to implement missions.
The battalion also urged the people to not lose sight of the revolutionary and support the campaign.
