YANGON DIVISION – The junta council members at the military veterans association office at Hlegu Township were attacked using a high-intensity remote-controlled mine, resulting in injuring two junta forces, an official of Yangon Army said.
“The mine was strong. Two of the junta soldiers guarding were injured,” he said.
The Yangon Army and the Western District People’s Defence Organization (PDO) jointly attacked the junta council troops guarding the military veterans association office at about 7 p.m. on April 26.
Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion sound on the night of the attack in Hlegu Township.
The official added that Yangon Army will continue to attack those related to the terrorist council and those who are encouraging the junta’s conscription law that has been enacted unjustly.
“Our force’s goal is to overthrow the terrorist military dictator. We will always attack those who support the dictator and cause harm to the people in various ways. We would like to remind again to those junta ward administration guys who has been doing all kinds of barbaric acts to the civilians,” said the official from Yangon Army.
In addition, Yangon Army appealed to the public not to go to places related to the military council, as they will cooperate and assault other major targets in cooperation with the allied forces.
