YANGON DIVISION – A civilian from No.8 Ward, Hlaing Township said that junta forces abducted a middle-aged man who lives near the church on U Cho Street, around 11 p.m on Saturday (June 3).
An eyewitness said that junta troops opened fire in the house when they raided that man’s house. “I don’t know why he was abducted. Some junta soldiers opened fire inside the house when they raided and conducted searches before abducting him,” said the witness.
A resident added that six junta council troops arrived in a junta car, parked it on the Aye Yeik Mon Road between Pa Dauk Street and Yuzana Street, then four soldiers got off the car and observed the pedestrians on June 4 morning.
It has been reported that the junta council had alerted their forces and strictened the security in Yangon Division as well as switched out the deployed troops in some townships after NUG Ministry of Defence announced the establishment of Yangon PDF battalion 5101.
