MON STATE – The Federal Council of Mon State announced that the Federal Council of Mon State has provided rice and food assistance to the people fleeing the war in Thaton township, Mon State.
The Humanitarian and Relief Department of the Mon State Federal Council provided rice rations to 86 families fleeing the war.
Last December 24th, a 14-year-old female student was killed when she was hit by a bullet fired by the terrorist army in Win Pyan village in Bilin township.
At present, the local people in the villages in Bilin township and Thaton Township are fleeing to safety and are in need of food, the residents said.
