TANINTHARYI DIVISION – The junta forces continuously set fire to civilians’ houses in Ya Nge Village, Thayet Chaung Township, according to residents.
On Monday morning (June 26), the junta soldiers stationed at Ya Nge Village set fire to civilians’ houses at the junction of Inn Buu Region and the southern part of the village.
“They started carrying out an arson attack at one house and the house adjacent to Kyaw Soe Moe’s house in the southern part of Ya Nge Village. The junta troops set fire to four houses this morning,” said the resident.
Civilians from 11 villages, including Ya Nge Village, are fleeing, but the junta soldiers forced them to return home and fired at them when the civilians went back.
