MANDALAY DIVISION – The officer in charge of the Wundwin Township Revolution Force (WTRF) said that the military council troops patrolling in Thazi township, Meikhtila District, were attacked, resulting in junta casualties.
The officer in charge of the WTRF said that four junta police and soldiers who were patrolling on two motorcycles near Myaung Oo Village bridge were shot on Sunday (November 12) around 7 o’clock in the morning.
“Two on the front motorcycle died on the spot. I heard that one on the other motorcycle died when he got to the hospital. As for the (junta) officer, he was hit twice in the lower part because he was wearing a bulletproof vest. We didn’t manage to pick up their weapons. We had to retreat because that officer shot back,” said the WTRF officer.
The junta casualties can’t be confirmed independently.
