KAREN STATE – The terrorist junta soldiers beat and abducted six people while tying their hands from behind in 13 Mile, Than Taung Town on Friday morning (May 19), according to a local.
The abductees were reportedly ordinary civilians from Ward No.1 in 13 Mile, Than Taung Town and none of the victims were connected to the revolutionary organizations.
Currently, 20 junta soldiers are said to be raiding the houses in Ward No.3 and also violated human rights by storming into the houses with the reason of checking the guest lists, reported another local.
The junta soldiers are likely to be committing these crimes against humanity to search for nine prisoners that ran away from Taungoo Prison. In addition, a local said that the junta soldiers are also investigating the people who passed by Khapaung Bridge, Sittaung Bridge and 4 Mile checkpoint.
