RAKHINE STATE – A woman who was on the way back from Thandwe Myoma market was abducted by terrorist army’s lackey policemen without a reason and detained her in junta army’s battalion 55, local residents reported.
The junta council’s policemen captured her at about 6 p.m. on April 7 near the Tada-U traffic light at Thandwe Town while she was returning home from market and sent her to Ngapali based battalion 55 in car.
The abductee who was being detained was Miss May Thazin (29) from Bauktaung Village of Thandwe Township, and the reason for being detained is not yet known, locals said.
“Family members are also worried. The terrorist council has been firing heavy weapons in Thandwe Township, and they often accuse the civilians as related to the Arakan Army (AA), and abduct to interrogate,” a local resident said.
Miss May Thazin, who was captured for no reason, does plantation in Bauktaung Village. The local people said that family members are not yet able to contact with her until April 9) and they have heard that the abductee is currently being detained in atrocious junta’s battalion 55.
