KAREN STATE – Vice District Commander’s Office, No. 3 Military Region Subdivision Southern Region J.O.C announced on July 10 that they provided food supplies to IDPs.
This is done by the Office of the Sub-Divisional Commander, No. 3 Military Region Subdivision, Southern Region, J.O.C, as the donors sent 200 bags of rice, cooking oil and dried noodles to them. It was informed that they were provided to the people fleeing the war through the Win Raw Emergency Relief Committee (lower section).
People are fleeing because the Abis-based Artillery Battalion (318) under the control of the terrorist army is targeting and firing heavy weapons to some villages in Win Yay Township.
Starting from June 28th, the terrorist army’s Abis village, Mudong Township based from artillery battalion (318) is firing daily with 122 howitzers and 120 mm motors to the villages of Khale, Takhon Tai, the old town of Pulain and Aye Chan Myain village. So there are explosions around the villages, and the residents are fleeing.
About 1,500 villagers from Pulain in Winre Township, Khale, Takhun Tai and Nang Thai Htun villages are fleeing to the villages of their relatives or friends were out of reach of heavy weapons and ammunition, and are in urgent need of food, according to the Sub-Divisional Commander’s Office, No. 3 Military Region Subdivision Southern Region J.O.C.
