MYANMAR – As the terrorist army is burning people’s homes, there were 93 arson attacks nationwide last June, with most cases in Sagaing Division with 79 cases, according to the statement released by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, National Unity Government (NUG).
It’s stated that according to the report of the Fire Department, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, there were 79 arson attacks in Sagaing Division, 2511 houses destroyed by fire and 9 victims who were burned to death.
It’s stated that in 3 arson attacks, 77 houses were destroyed by fire in Magway Division, 2 arson attacks, 10 houses were destroyed by fire in Mandalay Division, 2 arson attacks, 10 houses were destroyed by fire in Kachin State, 2 arson attacks, 40 houses were destroyed by fire in Shan State, and 5 arson attacks, 14 houses were destroyed by fire in Tanintharyi Division.
It also stated that 3 schools and 4 religious buildings were among those that were burned.
