BAGO DIVISION – The Supreme Headquarter of Karen National Union (KNU) has reported on June 11 that the terrorist junta soldiers slaughtered four civilians in KNU-controlled areas, and a woman among the victims was raped and her remains was hidden.
It was reported that four civilians were killed and five civilians’ houses were destroyed within a day by the terrorized acts of the brutal junta forces in Kler Lwee Htoo (Nyaunglebin) District in Kawthoolei Administrative area.
On June 9, the murderous junta soldiers launched artillery attacks over Moo (Mone) and Kyaukkyi (Ler Doh) townships of Kler Lwee Htoo District in KNU’s Brigade -3 territory, killing two locals and destroying three civilians’ houses.
Moreover, the immoral junta forces torched and destroyed two civilians’ houses and slaughtered a local man, while a woman was raped and killed, according to the reports on the ground.
The identities of the two locals who were shot dead by the terrorist junta forces cannot be confirmed, and the dead bodies of them have not yet been found.
However, residents said they found two bodies floating in Sittaung River.
