UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – The President of CRPH (Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw) and the Deputy Ministers of NUG (National Unity Government) reportedly attended the 24th Kayan National Day celebration held on April 6 in Iowa, the United States of America.
The attendees are from U Aung Kyi Nyun (CRPH), U Aung Kyaw Moe (Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Human Rights, NUG) and U Moe Zaw Oo (Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, NUG) and Daw Eve Lin (Vice Chairman of Karenni Consultative Council) respectively.
During the ceremony, the Kayan ethnic children who were born in Myanmar and based in the United States, performed their beautiful traditional cultural dances.
The Ministry of Human Rights also announced that majority of Burmese-Americans in Iowa attended the celebration.
