UNITED STATES – A total of $25,000 was raised at a meeting with the ministers of the National Unity Government (NUG), which was held in Texas, United States, and all of those will be sent to areas related to the revolution against the junta dictatorship, according to the organizers of the event.
The event named ‘Town Hall Meeting with Ministers of National Unity Government’ was said to have been held by the members of Texas communities on July 16 and raised $25,000 as funding for the revolution. It was also stated that the funds were donated by the Myanmar people in America and will be sent to places in need through NUG.
Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Minister Htin Lin Aung, Deputy Minister Aung Kyaw Moe, and Myanmar people in America who have been actively participating in the revolution reportedly attended the Town Hall Meeting with Ministers of the National Unity Government.
