KACHIN STATE: The helicopter pilot general Zaw Myo Thant from the crashed helicopter shot by KIA in Waingmaw, who had been caught alive by KIA was said to be a relative of the junta’s council spokesman general Zaw Min Tun, as known from their acquaintances.

The brother of major Zaw Myo Thant is also performing duty in the army with the rank of captain. The sister of Zaw Min Tun is a teacher. When the helicopter was shot, they were mourning as one of their relatives hurt,” as said by a close friend.
