SHAN STATE – The Palaung State Liberation Front / Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) is reported to have donated over 400 million Kyats to the family members of victims killed due to the air and artillery strikes of the terrorist junta council and over 400 houses destroyed in Ta’ang Region during Operation 1027.
An estimated 421 houses were said to have been destroyed by the terrorist junta council’s air and artillery attacks in Namkhan, Nhamsan, Mongtong, Nammatu and Mongngo Townships of northern Shan State.
The head of PSLF/TNLA administration department, Brigadier General Tar Guu Jar and officers personally met with the owners of those destroyed houses and gave them the support fund in a ceremony.
In order to re-establish the houses, they were graded A, B or C based on the extent of damage.
In addition to the support for the damages to the houses, the family members of the victims killed by junta air and artillery strikes were also provided the determined financial support.
Other than PSLF/TNLA, several Ta’ang civilian organisations were also said to have delivered financial support. PSLF/TNLA has announced that it will continue to provide support to the other townships under its control.
