SHAN STATE: Some junta’s forces arriving in Pekhon border intended to deploy military action in Karenni (Kayah) state were said to have returned to Northern Shan state as reinforcements, as said by the local information source.
There have been the junta’s forces with 400 soldiers who arrived Taung Mae Thin village, at the border of Pinlaung and Pekhon township as reinforcements.
“Yesterday on the afternoon of October 28, the soldiers were seen going to Taunggyi by six lorries along with PNO cars, as said by a resident of Pinlaung.
Similarly, among the junta’s forces intending to station in Taung Mae Thin village, there are some battalions from Northern Shan based Regional Operations Commands(ROC-12) and Division (33) which also reportedly retreated back, as said by Pekhon Based Military Information Source.
In Northern Shan State, since the early morning of October 27, 3 Northern Alliance are attacking the junta’s stations in the region as the military operation 1027. The junta’s forces, in return, reinforce with the ample of airstrikes and artillery firing. The military convoy to reinforce the junta’s forces are still on the way from Yaksauk on October 27. Moreover, the Military Division (33) and (55) are also arranging to reinforce. The junta’s division (55) based in Kalaw has heavy casualties including the officers due to the attack of the Karenni coalition forces during the battles in Karenni region.
