MYANMAR- On May 2, the Ministry of Education announced the list of schools that have been recognized as Interim Basic Education Public Schools by the National Unity Government.
In a statement, for students who have lost their right to study during the transition period (interim period) to learn continuously, Basic Education Public Schools are opened on the ground (in liberated areas), as well as online schools are connected and cooperated under the Ministry of Education, NUG.
It was also announced that the number of Interim Basic Education Public Schools is up to 55 schools.
The listed Interim Schools have fulfilled their promise to comply with the Public Education School Accreditation Policy (11) and the Information and Technology Security Guidelines, according to the remarks by the research and evaluation department of NUG.
The Ministry of Education’s evaluation department conducted an analysis and evaluation of the school’s operating conditions that applied for the extension of recognition as an Interim Basic Education Public School.
