They had traveled downstream from the Kani quayside, two out of eight their water vessels were stranded on the Wetchaunggyi dock. Three junta council water vessels were stranded near Muthaw village. Three junta council battleships came from Monywa, on November 7, to tow three stranded vessels. Two junta council vessels which were stranded near Wetchaunggyi village have been confronting us (the revolutionary forces). The junta council troops from two flash motor boats have been running towards Kani town using a motor boat. So, we could confiscate those vessels on the early morning of November 9. We get the timber trucks, one 12-wheel-truck, motorcycles, timbers and one 60 MM bullet box.”
The battles have been breaking out between the local people defence forces and the fascist junta council troops starting from November 5 and the revolutionary forces have already seized six junta council water vessels on November 9.
