MANDALAY DIVISION – Mr. Nway Oo (Myaung) from Civilians Defence and Security Organization Myaung (CDSOM) reported that 11 terrorist junta soldiers were killed in the battle at Myaytai Village in Nganzun Township.
At around 8:45 a.m. on May 4, joint People’s Defence Forces (PDF) attacked around 30 terrorist junta forces at Myaytai Village from a distance of 20 feet and killed seven junta troops.
“There were no casualties on our side except for damages to two motorcycles. When running into each other from a distance of 20 feet in Myaytai Village, junta forces mistook a PDF soldier to be part of their group due to the PDF soldier holding the same weapon and calling him to join them. The PDF soldier threw a 40mm (grenade) at them and also opened fire with his weapon, killing seven junta dogs (soldiers) on the spot,” said Mr. Nway Oo (Myaung).
In addition, it is reported that four junta soldiers were killed in the mine blast on two cars, carrying junta reinforcements headed to the battle at Myaytai Village from Nganzun Town, at the Nyaunglebin dam embankment on May 4 past 9 a.m.
The attack was carried out by Nganzun Team of CDSOM and Nganzun People’s Defence Team. It was additionally informed that several drone equipment and bullets were bought with the funds donated by the people during April and were used to chase away the junta forces that entered Nganzun from Simekhon on May 1, with junta forces running away and 11 of them were killed on May 4.
