CHIN STATE – As the military council has been conducting more airstrikes in Chin State’s Mindat township, the Township Public Administration Body (PAB) issued an order on June 4th, not to hold any traditional events in the villages and no gathering of people in schools, religious buildings, hospitals and village halls.
It was also stated that they warned the people to build bomb shelters and trenches securely.
In Mindat township, the junta council is committing more aerial bombing attacks in 2024 mainly targeted on the schools, religious buildings, hospitals and civilians’ homes.
A local news source informed that the Military Council Army attacked four times on a village in Mindat township with 2 fighter jets on the night of June 4th.
“I heard that 2 jet fighters from Tada Oo air force, bombed a village on the side of the number (1) prefecture. I heard that there were some casualties because they attacked 4 times for no reason,” the news source wrote on his social network.
The junta council launched an air attack without a fight in Mindat Township. Heavy weapons were fired frequently, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries and religious buildings, hospitals and homes were damaged.
