KARENNI STATE – The Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) has announced the launch of the One More Strike project to carry out more successful operations.
It is said that the implementation of the One More Strike project to replenish the ammunition in order to continue the city capturing battles and the camp capturing battles that was not completed during the ‘1111 operation’.
The goal of the project is 1 billion kyats, and it has been informed that contributions can be made within a month from May 30 to June 30.
“This is to collect ammunition for another attack on the military council and to conduct a more successful operation,” a KNDF official said.
He said that currently, a junta council column of about 500 men has arrived in the town of Loikaw, Karenni State, and fighting has resumed.
This is the first time that the Junta Council has entered from outside the state since the Karenni State ‘1111 Operation’ which started on November 11 last year.
May 31st is the three years anniversary of the foundation of KNDF.
It was stated in the announcement, over 90% of the Karreni state, including 8 townships are captured by the Revolutionary Forces after the 1111 operation.
In addition, 12 military council camps in Loikaw, 13 camps in Demoso, 1 camp in Hpruso, 5 camps in Bawlakhe, 9 camps in Hpasawng, 7 camps in Shataw, 17 camps in Phekon, 1 camp in Mae Se, total 65 military council camps were seized, and a total of 16 camps were reported to have withdrawn or surrendered.
