SHAN STATE (SOUTH) – There was a battle between the terrorist junta council column that invaded near the village of Naungsaka in Thabak Village Tract, Hsihseng Township and the Pa’O National Liberation Army (PNLA), according to the announcement of PNLA.
The terrorist junta joint column of about 300 junta soldiers and their lackeys and militias launched an offensive at around 10:00 a.m. and the fighting reportedly continued until 4:00 p.m. It is also said that the terrorist junta blocked the people of Lwemaw region from leaving their villages.
In addition, the fascist junta and the lackeys called local residents to a meeting on June 21 and threatened that they would not be allowed to leave the village and also beat up the village head of Ping Un Village.
Moreover, they also told the monks in the Lwemaw area to be careful, and that monks will also be inspected in the future and warned that it will not be the fault of PNO (junta subordinate militia) forces if the monks refused inspection.
During the above battle, the terrorist junta forces fired heavy weapons and also bombed using drones and the civilians from near Thabak Chaung Village had to flee by the entire villages to escape the junta attacks.
