MAGWAY DIVISION – A responsible person of No. 3 and No. 5 battalion, Gangaw District, the Saw Township based battalions, will be seizing the estates forcibly confiscated by the junta council in the past as well as the properties belonging to the main supporters of the junta council, starting from February 23.
He added that the estates and properties have belonged to the junta military and junta pillars for years and they will only use those estates for the revolution.
“The people with relations to the junta council are no longer in Saw Township. But they have been selling or using (their properties) via a third party,” said a responsible person of Gangaw District Battalion No. 3.
He also said that 80%of Saw Township is under control of the Local People’s Defence Forces.
It has been known that there are over two acres of estate forcibly confiscated by the junta council as of now.
It was also informed that No. 3 and No. 5 Battalions of Gangaw District was formerly No. 1 and No.2 Saw Township PDF Battalions but they have changed systematically as battalions under the Ministry of Defense of NUG (National Unity Government).
No.3 and No.5 Battalions of Gangaw District announced on Friday (February 23) that they will re-capture the estates forcibly confiscated by the junta council in the past and the properties of the main pillars of the junta council in the administrative region of Saw based Battalion No. 3 and No. 5, starting February 23, 2024.
