MYANMAR – The junta council has asked for detailed reports on the defenses prepared at all of its battalions nationwide while revolutionary forces are capturing the military camps and bases all over the country including northern Shan, Kachin, Chin and Karenni States.
The junta council previously issued instructions to all battalions to prepare trenches that can resist bombing by drones, to set up 24 hours hidden sentries and to have ammunition ready to switch immediately from defense to offense when revolutionary forces launch attacks. The battalions were then ordered to submit reports with photographs on whether those instructions have been followed.
Currently at all the junta battalions nationwide, there are continuous instructions issued for all military families to not leave the barracks, to not accept outside guests, to not grant leaves to all soldiers and officers, to not trust the news on social media (that the junta claims are false news), to only listen to the news released by the junta regime on its own channels, to be loyal to the battalion and the commanders, to go into battle with the determination to lose their lives, and to not surrender, enter the legal fold nor join CDM.
