TANINTHARYI DIVISION – The Southern Brothers Army announced on May 3 that two sergeant clerks from the Junta Infantry Battalion (557) based in Oaking Village, Tanintharyi Township reportedly defected to the Southern Brotherhood column with their weapons.
On April 28, two junta sergeant clerks, along with two automatic guns, 260 rounds of 5.56 bullets, and six magazines, defected to the Southern Brothers Army.
The two soldiers who defected to the Southern Brotherhood Column were sent to a liberated area and rewards would also be provided, as stated by the Southern Brothers Army.
