SAGAING DIVISION – According to Mr. Htoo Khant Zaw (Mother’s Son) the information officer of Ye-U based People’s Defense Comrade, the local civilians have been forced to flee as the fascist junta council opened fire and abducted the civilians as porters in Taze town, Sagaing division.
Starting from June 28, the fascist junta council troops which were stationed in Taze town, opened fire and abducted the civilians as porters in the center of the town.
Those fascist junta council troops abducted the civilians for two consecutive days, on June 29 and 30. At the moment, the civilians have been forced to flee. The fascist junta council cut off the phone lines in the town. They (the junta council troops) are continuously patrolling in the town and have opened fire recklessly.
The number of the abductees cannot be confirmed yet. The civilians who were trapped in the town, dare not go out and there is no traffic on the roads.
The information officer Htoo Khant Zaw mentioned that “the fascist dogs (the junta council troops) which were stationed in Taze town, were patrolling in the town by cars and abducted the youths, since June 28. We are still investigating how many youths have been abducted after junta forces were patrolling in the town and opening fire recklessly. Some of the civilians have already fled and some of the civilians were trapped in the town. We only knew that they were abducting the civilians in the town, We don’t know in which neighborhoods they committed the abduction.”
Mr. Htoo Khant Zaw explained that around 300 junta council servants, the combination of the junta council troops and the Pyu Saw Htee militants under the lead of Warthawa, were stationed in Ywar Thit village in the western part of Taze, Shwekataw village in the southern part of Taze, Karboe village in the eastern part of Taze and at the Shwe junction.
Mr. Htoo Khant Zaw continued that “it was known that as the fascist junta council didn’t let the civilians to flee, some of the civilians were trapped in the town. Some of the civilians have already fled. The civilians in the town dare not go out anywhere and hide in their own houses. We assumed that to reinforce its troops, they (the junta council troops) abducted the civilians.”
