YANGON DIVISION – An official of Yangon Army (YA) stated that they struck the junta thugs guarding the junta council’s Myawaddy Bank, located on Wai Zayan Tar Road, South Okkalapa Township, Yangon Town, Yangon Division with high intensity hand grenades, resulting in many casualties.
“We threw hand grenades into the banker. Two or three junta thugs might be eliminated,” an official of YA said.
The stated operation was announced to be carried out with the cooperation of YA and People Deffence Force of Western District on Tuesday (May 29) at around 6:45 p.m.
After the explosion, the junta forces had increased investigation around Gandamar Wholesale according to the information sharing on local news channels.
“We notified again with this action to all the partners and allied with Min Aung Hlaing who oppressed, committed crimes onto the civilians in various ways and activated and supported injustice conscription law that we will carry out the attack onto them functionally,” YA warned.
Moreover, YA notified civilians to avoid the places related to the junta council as YA will continue operating the attack to others huge targets in cooperation with alliances.
Furthermore, revolutionary forces had carried out attacks onto the junta forces guarding the Myawaddy Banks of many townships’ branches including Yangon and Mandalay after the ongoing military coup. Similarly, there was a hand-grenade attack onto the Myawaddy Bank in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Town, Mandalay Division on May 21.
