A junta’s military helicopter was hovering about 200 feet above the ground with machine guns at the ready position over the air space of Na Bu Lel area at around 10:00 a.m., on May 15, according to the Tanintharyi Military Region Command.
“I heard the sound of a scout plane hovering, but I can’t hear it anymore. I can’t say exactly if it was a scout plane. We also are running away from the fascist junta forces,” said a resident of Na Bu Lel at around 4:30 p.m.
The junta’s gate inside the Dawei Special Economic Zone was attacked on the morning of May 14, while a junta reinforcement convoy was detonated with mines near Kan Bridge, at the entrance of the SEZ.
