KACHIN STATE – Military information sources said that the terrorist military base in Nanya village, Phakant city, on Myitkyina road was attacked by the KIA/PDF joint forces and occupied the area at 6 o’clock this morning.
The terrorist army camp was attacked at 5:00 a.m. on April 9th, and on the 3rd day, KIA/PDF joint forces attacked and occupied it on April 11th, this morning.
“At 6 o’clock this morning, they were able to seize the Nanya military council camp, enter and clear it. It is a camp where the military council and the Shanni militia are deployed together. This morning, they waved the White Flag and surrendered. There are about 30 of them who waved the white flag,” said a resident of Phakant.
The Nanya terrorist junta council camp is located on the outskirts of Nanya village and is a checkpoint gate camp with more than 100 terrorist soldiers and Shanni militia stationed there, and the travelers are strictly inspected.
According to military news sources, some of the terrorist soldiers were killed in the attack and 30 of them surrendered by waving the White Flag.
During the two days of intense fighting, the terrorist army bombarded more than 10 times from the air, and more than 10 homes, including rice mills, were destroyed, but there were no human casualties, he said.
Nanya Village is a large village with a population of around 1,000 people. Residents of the villages including Nanya, Sai Fara, and Kagmaw Zut have been fleeing since the beginning of the battle.
The terrorist army also carried out bombing raids with two airplanes, and it is said that houses were on fire due to bombs falling on Nanya village, which has a population of around 1,000 people.
It is reported that KIA/PDF joint forces attacked and captured the terrorist police station in Selzin village on April 9th and still fighting to capture the junta council camp.
