MYANMAR – January 12, 2024 marks 61 years since the Ta’ang people launched attempts to break free from the military dictatorship for freedom, self determination and equality in 1963.
The Committee Representing Pyithu Hluttaw (CRPH) wished for consecutive victories and safe journey in the Spring Revolution where the people of Myanmar alongside the Ta’ang people are moving forward with revolutionary spirits on this special day.
CRPH said that the Ta’ang people have achieved numerous victories not just during the previous eras of military dictatorship but also in today’s Spring Revolution by cooperating with other revolutionary organisations in military and political sectors, adding that the victory of Operation 1027 highlights the bravery of the Ta’ang people.
CRPH also expressed its gratitude to the Ta’ang people for working hard together with the revolutionary forces under mutual understanding and trust to free the country from military dictatorship.
CRPH’s missive for the 61st Ta’ang National Revolution Day also saluted the Ta’ang leaders and heroes who fell in battles through various eras to achieve federal democracy as well as the Ta’ang heroes who sacrificed their lives in the present day’s Spring Revolution and vowed to work together with the citizens who have been oppressed for decades under the evil military dictatorship and all revolutionary forces to completely erase military dictatorship from Myanmar not just in the present but also in the future via political dialogues and building mutual trust and understanding.
